Caspian Construction Week ۲۰۲۶ to Open New Business Opportunities for Iranian Construction Companies in Azerbaijan

The 31st Caspian Construction Week will take place in Azerbaijan from 14 to 16 October 2026. The event will be held at the country’s premier exhibition venue, Baku Expo Center.

Caspian Construction Week is one of the region’s leading industry events and brings together a series of international exhibitions:

·         The 31st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition — BakuBuild;

·         The 6th Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Garabagh Exhibition — Rebuild Garabagh;

·         The 18th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Swimming Pool — Aquatherm Baku;

·         The 5th Caspian International Plastics and Polymers Industry Exhibition — Plastex Caspian.

The exhibitions are held with the support of the relevant government authorities and professional organisations of Azerbaijan.

Caspian Construction Week makes a significant contribution to the development of the construction industry, the introduction of innovative technologies, the implementation of major projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and the attraction of international investment. Over the years, the event has established itself as a recognised national brand and secured an important place in the business calendars of local and international companies.

Preparations for the event are progressing actively. Companies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, Italy, China, Russia, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and other countries have already confirmed their participation. Italy, Russia and Uzbekistan will be represented by national pavilions.

Opportunities for Iranian companies

Azerbaijan and Iran share close geographical ties and maintain long-standing trade and economic relations. Cooperation in construction, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure development, engineering, building materials and modern technologies represents an important area of interaction between the business communities of the two countries.

The extensive urban development, infrastructure and reconstruction projects currently being implemented in Azerbaijan are creating new opportunities for Iranian manufacturers, exporters and suppliers. Iranian companies can offer competitive products and solutions across a broad range of sectors, including construction materials, stone and ceramics, metal products, doors and windows, insulation, plumbing, electrical equipment, interior solutions, industrial machinery and polymer-based products.

Participation in BakuBuild will enable Iranian companies to present their products directly to a professional audience, establish contacts with potential buyers and distributors, meet construction and development companies, and explore opportunities for entering or expanding their presence in the Azerbaijani market.

Baku’s geographical proximity and established business links with Iran make the exhibition particularly accessible to Iranian companies. Caspian Construction Week can also serve as a platform for reaching potential partners from Azerbaijan and the wider South Caucasus region.

The event may be of interest not only to major manufacturers and exporters but also to small and medium-sized enterprises, chambers of commerce, professional associations, regional trade organisations and institutions supporting non-oil exports.

Participation of Iranian companies

Iranian companies have maintained a consistent presence at Caspian Construction Week, using the event to showcase their manufacturing capabilities and explore business opportunities in Azerbaijan. In 2024, the exhibitions welcomed 13 Iranian companies, which presented products and solutions across different segments of the construction and industrial sectors. Iranian businesses continued their participation in 2025, further supporting direct commercial dialogue between the two neighbouring markets.

Preparations and exhibitor registration for the 2026 edition are still under way. At this stage, three Iranian companies — Fardshahin, Golchin Industrial Group and Nami Gostar Diba — have already confirmed their participation, with further registrations possible as preparations continue. These companies will present products and solutions in several important areas such as iron and steel products, industrial and commercial cleaning equipment and supplies, household cleaning products, construction tools and plastic household products, as well as building materials and products, raw materials, equipment and research solutions for ceramics and glass manufacturers.

The participation of these companies demonstrates the diversity of Iran’s industrial and manufacturing capabilities and the continued interest of Iranian businesses in the Azerbaijani market. Caspian Construction Week will enable them to present their products to a professional audience, meet prospective buyers and distributors, explore cooperation with construction and industrial companies, and develop new export connections in Azerbaijan and the wider South Caucasus region.

BakuBuild exhibition

BakuBuild will traditionally serve as the central event of Caspian Construction Week. Exhibiting companies will present construction and manufacturing equipment, flooring, interior and architectural solutions, lighting and insulation systems, ceramics and facing stone, landscaping materials, metal products, windows and doors, as well as equipment for fitness and sports facilities and other solutions for the construction industry.

BakuBuild will provide industry professionals with an opportunity to explore the latest products and technologies, compare solutions offered by manufacturers from different countries and establish direct contacts with suppliers, distributors, architects, engineers, developers and potential customers.

The simultaneous organisation of four interconnected industry exhibitions at one venue will provide Iranian companies with access to a wider professional audience. Alongside construction and architecture, participating companies will be able to explore opportunities in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, water supply, sanitary equipment, plastics, polymers, industrial production and infrastructure development.

An important part of Caspian Construction Week will be pre-arranged bilateral meetings in B2B and B2G formats. These meetings will allow participants to hold direct discussions with representatives of private companies and government authorities, explore supply and cooperation opportunities, identify potential partners and obtain information about projects being implemented in Azerbaijan.

For Iranian companies, this format will make it possible to use the exhibition not only as a platform for displaying products but also as a practical instrument for market entry, export development and the establishment of long-term commercial partnerships.

Throughout the three-day event, Caspian Construction Week will be accompanied by an extensive business programme featuring panel discussions, case-study sessions, foresight sessions, innovation sessions and professional meetings. Representatives of government institutions, company executives and leading construction industry experts will take part.
