According to SAMA, Ghasem Manafi, an active figure in the construction industry, stated in an interview today that transitioning from traditional methods to modern construction approaches is one of the fundamental and unavoidable priorities of the sector, given the current state of the country’s building industry.

Noting that Iran possesses substantial and notable resources for supplying raw materials and essential building products such as cement, ceramics, rebar, and other basic commodities, he said: “Despite these domestic capacities, what has kept us behind global standards is the continued reliance on traditional methods in the execution and management of construction projects. It is imperative that we align ourselves with the world’s latest technologies as quickly as possible.”
