According to SAMA, Mohammad Rostampour, CEO of TAV Holding, stated in remarks that the most important challenge facing the construction industry is the issue of prices as well as the need to pay attention to the engineering and urban development system, while also highlighting the use of modern technologies as the most fundamental issue.
Emphasizing that Iran’s construction industry lags far behind developed countries in the use of new technologies, he said: “I believe that competition in the future of the construction industry will not be based on construction quality, project location, or capital volume.”
Shifting from Traditional Resources to Knowledge-Based Capital
The CEO of TAV Holding added: “What will be decisive in the construction industry in the future is knowledge, technology, and the utilization of modern technologies, and those active in this field must shift their focus from traditional resources toward knowledge-based capital in order to remain competitive.”
