According to SAMA, Hamidreza Memarian, CEO of Paya Sazeh Pasargad, emphasized that human resources and energy have become major issues and fundamental challenges in the construction industry, stating: “Certainly, all new technologies must be employed in the construction sector.”
He noted that it is predicted that in the not-too-distant future, the construction of new cities under the title of “smart and green cities” will begin, adding: “In these cities, green energy will be used, and energy will be exchanged intelligently between buildings.”
Robotic Construction and 3D Printers
The expert also pointed to the trend toward robotization in construction and said: “Currently, construction 3D printers can produce up to three stories, and in the near future, it will be possible to build up to five stories with robots.”
He further clarified: “If this happens, human resource issues will be resolved, quality will increase, building costs will decrease, construction speed will rise, and with new technologies, construction will be carried out completely and in an integrated manner.”
