The deputy for civil affairs coordination at the Alborz Governorate has announced that 800 residential units built under the National Housing Movement are now ready to be handed over to applicants.

Speaking on Tuesday, Ali Safari reviewed the progress of housing projects across Alborz province, a rapidly growing region immediately west of Tehran, and stressed that the primary objective is to accelerate the process of homeownership for citizens.

“According to current plans, Alborz province has committed to delivering a total of 4,500 additional residential units under the National Housing Movement to applicants by the end of this year,” Safari added, referring to the Iranian calendar year which concludes in late March.

The senior official underlined the need to speed up the execution of development schemes and emphasised the importance of full coordination among executive agencies and related bodies to remove obstacles and fast-track the completion of units currently under construction.

Safari noted that supplying and delivering housing to the public is one of the key priorities of the province’s civil affairs sector, and that every effort is being pursued to increase the pace of project completion and respond to citizens’ housing needs.
