SAMA brings Iranian construction capabilities to Baku as a media partner and exhibitor
Coinciding with the 31st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition – BakuBuild 2026, Building Magazine has published a dedicated English-language special edition presenting a contemporary view of Iran’s construction, development, architecture and engineering industries.
BakuBuild 2026 is being held from 14–16 October 2026 at the Baku Expo Center, bringing together companies, professionals and decision-makers from across the construction sector.
SAMA Construction Media is participating in this year’s exhibition with an independent booth and as a media partner and supporter of the event. SAMA’s logo is also featured within the Media Support section of the official BakuBuild platform.
The participation represents another step in SAMA’s international development, following previous construction media activities and special editions connected with major exhibitions in Dubai and Oman. BakuBuild 2026 now extends that journey into the Caspian and Caucasus markets. 1
The Baku special edition has deliberately been developed as more than a company catalogue. Its editorial objective is to present the people, projects, experience and capabilities behind Iran’s construction industry, while examining where meaningful cooperation with Azerbaijan and other regional markets may emerge.
A major part of the issue is dedicated to Iranian builders and developers, ranging from large-scale residential communities and high-rise developments to coastal projects, hotels, hospitality destinations and mixed-use developments.
The edition also explores contemporary Iranian architecture, engineering and project-delivery capacity, construction materials, sustainability, industrialisation, smart construction and the evolving relationship between real estate and hospitality.
At the centre of the publication is a broader message: international construction activity is not based on products alone.
Architecture, professional development, engineering knowledge, project management, delivery capability, reputation and long-term partnerships are all part of an industry’s ability to participate internationally.
Through its presence at BakuBuild, SAMA aims to act as a media bridge between Iran’s professional construction ecosystem and regional markets—making credible Iranian capabilities easier to discover, understand and connect with.
